DUBAI WASTE TO ENERGY

DECO is in charge of supplying, installing, and testing the E, C & I Systems for a Waste To Energy Power Plant in Dubai’s Warsan 02. This includes 5 Waste Thermal Treatment Units, processing 5000 tonnes of waste daily, and a 200 MW Steam Turbine. DECO’s responsibilities extend to electrical and instrumentation work in plant areas like process areas, substations, control rooms, boilers, FGT, and the Turbine area.

    Demonstrates Dubai’s commitment to sustainability and addressing waste management challenges while utilizing renewable energy sources
    Cost of the project is 4 billion UAE dirhams ($1.09 billion).
    The facility can generate 220 MWh of renewable energy.
    It can process two million tonnes of waste annually without any adverse environmental impact.
